When I first joined Needle, the product was already live but struggling to gain traction. It was overly complex, visually inconsistent, and hard to use. I worked closely with cofounders Mik and Wyatt for over two years to reimagine the entire experience from the ground up. Needle is a social music app that combines the best of Spotify and Instagram, letting people share songs they love and connect through music. Users can post tracks, comment, applaud, and save songs, creating a fun and personal space for discovery and connection.

My work included UX strategy, marketing page design, UX and UI design, custom illustrations, design system creation, pitch deck design, and engineering handoff. Collaborating with Mik and Wyatt was an incredible experience. Together we transformed Needle into a clean, intuitive, and engaging platform that makes music feel social again.
